I may have ended up in the ministry and become a successful registered dietitian, but life didn’t start out as beautiful as it is today.
I did not grow up in the church. My relationship with Jesus was very one on one. He and I walked through a lot of fires together because I was a hot mess. My Prince Charming (my wonderful and amazing husband) came from a long line of pastors, deacons, and church starters.
I came from a long line of criminals, addicts, and abusers. I was completely intimidated by the other women at church who always looked so perfect and put-together.
I was consumed by stress just thinking about going to church because I typically said or did the wrong thing.
These experiences have shaped who I am today and drive my passion for helping people like you.
Throughout all of it, God always had my back…He is so wonderful and He brought different women into my life to guide me so that I could find my own way.
Now I can say after thirty years in the ministry serving in different roles, that’s what I am for you; a friend, a mentor, a guide to better nutrition and hopefully a deeper relationship with our Holy Creator.
The struggles I have dealt with surrounding nutrition and never feeling quite perfect enough to deserve God’s love are what fuel my passion for helping you uncomplicate nutrition and make the best, healthiest choices for your family.
